DEADLINE: JULY 9, 2020 ― Interested Nigerian journalists can apply to attend an online workshop by Africa Check on the spread of health-related misinformation in the age of COVID-19.
The one-day online health misinformation workshop will focus on sorting facts from fiction, particularly on fact-checking online health information and verifying images and videos on social media.
Only journalists based in Kano (Kano State), Lagos (Lagos State), Ibadan (Oyo State), Benin (Edo State), Port Harcourt (Rivers State), Owerri (Imo State), Abuja or Kaduna (Kaduna) can apply to attend this workshop.
