Africa Women Journalism Project open for women journalists

DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 5, 2021 —Women journalists and writers can apply for the Africa Women Journalism Project (AWJP).

The project is for journalists in Nigeria, Ghana and Senegal, and it is aimed at increasing the capacity of women journalists to understand the complexity of gender-based violence and exploitation and empower them to cover gender-related issues.

The Africa Women Journalism Project is an initiative supported by the International Centre for Journalists in partnership with the Ford Foundation West Africa.

Interested applicants must have a fine command of either English or French language.

Successful participants will be able to apply for a 9-month Fellowship which will begin from January 2022 to September 2022.

The deadline for applications is November 5th, 2021.
