African Women in Media 2022 conference seeks submissions

DEADLINE: MAY 25, 2022 —African Women in Media (AWiM) seeks submissions for its sixth annual conference with the theme: “United in Action.”

The hybrid conference aims to bring together academia, media practitioners, civil society organisations and policymakers.

The conference will hold on December 8-9, 2022 at Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Fez, Morocco.

Meanwhile, registration for the conference will open on June 26, 2022.

AWiM seeks proposals from academia, media practitioners, civil society organisations and policy actors on these three sub-themes:

1. Gender Equality in and through Media
2. Collective Action and Representation, and
3. Media Business and Global Challenges.

The deadline for submissions is May 25, 2022.
