COVID-19 Reality Check Project

DEADLINE: SUNDAY, AUGUST 30, 2020 ― The Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism (WSCIJ) is inviting Nigerian full-time and freelance journalists to submit their story pitches for consideration for funding as part of the organisation’s COVID-19 Reality Check Project supported by the MacArthur Foundation.

Thos eeleigble for the call are journalists from the print, online, broadcast and photography specialties and non-journalists with an interest in reporting impactful investigative stories.

The COVID-19 Reality Check project is a WSCIJ initiative that examines government interventions and promises in relation to the realities on the ground in terms of social welfare, water and sanitation, economics, security, food availability and accessibility, education, electric power supply, and more.
