SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2020 ― The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) seeks nominations for the 2020 ICFJ Knight International Journalism Awards.
ICFJ is looking for nominees whose pioneering coverage or media innovations have a significant impact on the lives of people around the world.
Interested candidates can be reporters, editors, technologists, media managers, citizen journalists or bloggers.
Interested candidates who meet the Awards criteria may nominate themselves.
Award winners receive a trip to the United States, where they will be honoured at ICFJ’s Awards Dinner on November 12, 2020.
Each winner will receive a US$10,000 cash prize and a crystal trophy.
All nominations must be submitted by 11:59 pm Eastern time on Sunday, February 23, 2020.

The Award, supported by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, reflects the mission of ICFJ Knight Fellowships to instil a culture of news innovation worldwide.
The goal is to seed new ideas and services that deepen coverage, expand news delivery and engage citizens in the editorial process.
The fellowship program is supported by Knight Foundation, with additional funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
