DEADLINE: MAY 13, 2022 —Organisations using WhatsApp to launch, innovate and scale their efforts to combat misinformation can apply for grants.
The International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN), in partnership with Meta, will award direct grant funding up to $800,000 in two tiers: $25,000 and $50,000.
Grantees will also receive exposure at Global Fact 10, in 2023, the IFCN’s annual global fact-checking summit that unites creators, consumers and champions of fact-based reporting.
Interested applicants will present projects that help fact-checkers launch their presence on WhatsApp and/or scale existing efforts on WhatsApp.
The deadline for applications is May 13, 2022.
