The National Press Foundation in the United States has launched the Hinrich Foundation Award for Distinguished Reporting on Trade.
The award recognises exemplary journalism that illuminates and advances the public’s understanding of international business and trade.
The award is opened to any professional journalist whose work exemplifies the highest standards of journalism and is published by a reputable news organization outside the United States.

This includes print, broadcast and digital journalists.
This award carries a US$10,000 prize.
The winner will receive a trip to Washington, D.C. to accept the award at the National Press Foundation’s annual journalism awards dinner on February 13, 2020.
Entries should include journalism published or broadcast from October 1, 2018 to September 27, 2019.
The deadline for entries is Friday, September 27, 2019.
