DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 10, 2021 — African journalists can apply for the International Center For Journalists (ICFJ) 2021 Africa Regional Journalism Workshops.

The workshop aims to provide an in-depth training program focused on equipping African journalists with relevant resources, tools, and knowledge covering existing and new challenges, such as COVID-19 and disinformation.

This program aims to help African journalists improve their work as well as create lasting professional ties between African and American journalists.

Online sessions in English, French and Portuguese will cover topics across experience levels including ethical newsgathering, investigative journalism, mobile journalism, and media entrepreneurship.

Participants will also eventually be invited to submit articles to IJNet on the new skills and best practices covered during the training.
The program is open to African Journalists working on the continent.

Applicants may be from any form of media such as print, broadcast, audio, digital/online, etc.The deadline for applications is February 10, 2021.
