DEADLINE: APRIL 4, 2022 —The Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) 2022 fellowship seeks applications from journalists and students to attend a conference in Denver, Colorado.

The Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) Conference will take place virtually and in-person from June 23 to 26.

Fellowships are available to female journalism students or early-career journalists; journalists, educators and students of colour; US early-career TV journalists interested in investigative reporting; students in Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma or Louisiana; journalists interested in financial investigative journalism; journalists working for a newspaper with a Sunday circulation of under 50,000; journalists from trade publications and small outlets; journalists with disabilities, LGBTQ+ journalists and others from underrepresented communities; and journalists and students working outside the United States.

The fellowship includes a complimentary IRE membership/renewal (US$25 for students/US$70 for pros) and a complimentary conference registration.

The deadline for applications is April 4, 2022.
