Apply for Stigler Center’s residency programme for journalists

DEADLINE: OCTOBER 13, 2024— The Stigler Center is currently accepting applications from journalists worldwide for its 12-week residency programme.

The ideal candidate must have some years of media experience, proficient English, and an interest in deepening their knowledge and understanding of political economy.

Participants spend approximately 12 weeks (March 19 – May 31, 2025) at the Hyde Park campus in Chicago, US, auditing classes, participating in Stigler Center events, collaborating with peers, and networking with the university’s scholars.

Successful candidates will be provided with reimbursements for economy-class airfare to/from Chicago, SEVIS and visa application fees, stipends of $14,000 to cover living expenses over the 12-week programme, training, and certificates of participation, among others.
