DEADLINE: JANUARY 3, 2021 — Submission for This is Gender, the global photography competition hosted by Global Health 50/50, is now ongoing.

Photographers are invited to submit photographs that explore the diverse ways in which gender norms are lived and subverted by men, women and non-binary people.

£500 cash prize for the winner while cash prizes are available for secondary category awards.

The organisers are particularly interested, but not exclusively, in works that contemplate gender-related topics in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

All photographic and photojournalistic forms are welcome.

Photographers from low and middle-income communities and countries are particularly encouraged to participate.

Applicants may submit up to three individual submissions.

Filmmaker, Film Photographer, Visual Storyteller, Journalist, Photographer and Visual Artist can apply.

The deadline for submissions is 3rd January 2021 (18:00)
