National Association of Campus Journalists, Usmanu Danfodiyo University (UDUS), Sokoto is set to organise a 2-day intensive and interactive media career training session.
The workshop, according to the association president, Muneer Yaqub, will assist campus journalists to become impact-making journalists.
He also said the workshop will avail the participants of learning about fact-checking and necessary tools available for intending practitioners while also providing an avenue to build a successful career in broadcast journalism.
The workshop will take place at the Sokoto Energy Research Center, UDUS on 14th and 15th September 2019.

Speakers lined up to speak at the event include Haruna O. Abdullahi, the Publisher of World Entourage Magazine, Naomi Komgbenda, a News Editor with Vision FM Sokoto and Yusuf Ladan, a reporter with Garkuwa FM Sokoto among others.
Yaqub also said an honorary award will be given to the immediate past Vice-Chancellor of UDUS, Prof Abdullahi Abdu Zuru.
