CITAD to host Keep Female Journalists Safe online programme

DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 10, 2021 —The Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD) invites participants for its Keep Female Journalists Safe online Programme.

The initiative aims to enhance the capacity of female journalists to work safely online.

The programme comprises a two-day residential training on online safety and privacy, five-day mentoring session, and public awareness activities.

Female journalists residing in Bauchi, Gombe, Yobe, Adamawa, Kano, Jigawa and Kaduna states can participate in the programme.

The journalists must be digitally literate, have active social media handles, and be willing to conduct a public awareness programme.

Interested female journalists can apply by sending a cover later, short profile, and brief about the media where the applicant works (including number of female journalistic working there) to info@citad.org

The deadline for applications is September 10, 2021.
