DEADLINE: OCTOBER 31, 2022 — The inaugural Emerging Health Technologies (EHTs) Media Award of Excellence is currently open for entries.
The Award is an annual recognition of African journalists who have contributed to emerging health technology (EHT) reporting by publishing and producing stories on the subject.
The period of publication/broadcast of entries is from 1 October 2021 to 31 October 2022.
The emerging health technologies for consideration include, but are not limited to, gene drives for malaria control and elimination; drones for improved health; artificial intelligence; and microgrids for healthcare.
The Grand Prize winner will receive USD5,000 while the winner and runner-up in each category of print, radio, television, and online will be awarded USD2,500 and USD1, 000 respectively.
The deadline for applications is October 31, 2022.
