Experienced sub-editor needed at The Africa Report 

DEADLINE: AUGUST 10, 2022 — The Africa Report is hiring a sub-editor with at least five years of editing experience to join its editorial team.

African candidates and candidates based in Africa are encouraged to apply for the remote-work position.

The sub-editor do not need to be an Africa specialist but must have a keen eye, critical thinking and a deep interest in words.

Some of the responsibilities of the sub-editor include subbing and proofing articles to a consistently high standard and in respect of The Africa Report’s house style and voice, and ensuring it is used consistently in-house and by freelancers.

The Africa Report offers a salary of 35-40k euros depending on experience with 25 days of annual leave.
