DEADLINE: AUGUST 31, 2022 —Rest of World is hiring a Features Editor to work on award-winning longform stories and enterprise projects.
Rest of World is an international journalism publication that’s focused on exploring the impact of technology beyond the Western bubble.
The ideal candidate will be able to work with in-house and freelance reporters from around the world to find, assign, and edit some of the publication’s most ambitious work.
The features editor must be experienced in crafting compelling narrative features, identifying colorful characters, knowing how to secure access, navigating sensitive subject matter, and the ability to structure a story for impact is a must.
Applicants must have a minimum of five years experience in editing, including feature-length/longform stories. Experience covering or editing business or tech stories is preferred
Alongside other benefits, the features editor will receive $12,500 yearly.
