Google News Initiative to train Nigerian news publishers for two weeks

Google News Initiative will, for two weeks, train news publishers in Nigeria as part of its Digital Growth Program.

The two-week training was created to support quality news publishers who are at the start of their digital transformation journey, as they look for practical ways to scale online.

The training which starts November 23 will offer free, interactive digital workshops covering the fundamentals of reader revenue, advertising revenue, audience development, data management and business strategy.

Attendees also earn a digital badge confirming attendance of the training on completion.
