Grants for projects on science, conservation, others

DEADLINE: APRIL 12, 2023 Journalists and other professionals working on projects in science, conservation, storytelling, education, and technology can apply for grants at the National Geographic Society.

The National Geographic Society invites early career applicants as well as those more advanced in their careers from historically and currently underrepresented and underserved populations to apply.

Projects that align with one or more of its focus areas, including Ocean, Land, Wildlife, Human History &
Cultures, and Human Ingenuity, will be funded.

Grantees will also be empowered with cutting-edge tools, technology, and training, and further their impact and recognition through the organisation’s storytelling.

Levil I grants (up to USD $20,000) are for early career applicants while Level II grants (up to USD $100,000) are for advanced career applicants.

The deadline for submissions is April 12, 2023.
