Health Journalism Network: Vaccine Stories Production Grants

DEADLINE: JULY 20, 2021 —Health Journalism Network seeks to fund vaccine-related stories on Science, Access, Logistics, and Confidence.

Successful applicants will receive $250 to produce their stories by Tuesday, August 31th.

Interested applicants must be registered members of the Internews Health Journalism Network and have taken the online course, Let’s Talk Vaccines.

This Internews Let’s Talk Vaccines course is a requirement for pitching to Health Journalism Network.

The course is currently only available in English, and it exposes journalists to the evolving science around vaccines, the efforts to secure access to COVID-19 vaccines, the mammoth logistical task of planning and securing rollout and efforts to support vaccine confidence.

After taking the course, applicants can submit pitches in English, Spanish, Arabic and French.

Applicants can submit pitches from July 8th to July 20th, 2021.
