Journalists can apply for fellowship at Reuters Institute

DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 8 — The Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism is currently accepting applications for its Journalist Fellowship program.

The fellowship will begin in October 2021 or January 2022 and last three or six months.

The program is for practising, mid-career journalists who want to explore journalism at the University of Oxford.

Interested applicants must have a minimum of five years’ journalism experience and strong English skills.

Fellows will work on a project that will be of direct impact to them, their career, their newsroom and the wider media industry.

Successful applicants would be required to refrain from professional work during the fellowship months.

Most journalists on the programme are fully funded.

Fellows will get their fees covered and receive a monthly stipend of £2,000,

The organizers will also cover the cost of travel to and from the UK and any visa costs.

The fellowship is open to journalists from all over the world, including Europe, Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, North America, and Latin America.

The deadline for applications is February 8, 2021.
