Media fellowship at Search for Common Ground

DEADLINE: MAY 21, 2021— Search for Common Ground seeks applications from prospective fellows who wish to participate in a 9-month media fellowship.

To contribute to the mitigation of conflict over natural resources between Farmer and Herder communities in Adamawa state, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Search for Common Ground (Search) and Mercy Corps, with funding from the European Union, are implementing a project titled COMITAS.

The project aims to improve intra and inter-communal perception through unbiased reporting and peace messaging, including some basic messages about COVID-19 in case the need arises.

Search aims to select 20 passionate and motivated youth leaders to participate in the nine-month fellowship programme.

Interested applicants should include female youth, youth with disabilities, and youth in political positions, civil society organisations, and communities.

Fellows will be entitled to a monthly stipend for the duration of the Fellowship.

Applicants must be between the ages of 18-30 years and resident in Adamawa State.

The deadline for applications is May 21, 2021.
