DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 24, 2022 ― The New York Times Headway initiative is accepting solution stories pitches for cover stories, visual and interactive stories, and supporting pieces.

Headway is a new initiative at The New York Times dedicated to exploring the world’s challenges through the lens of progress.

The project seeks to shift the reporting lens from describing a problem to exploring how people are trying to address it.
