Nigerian journalist, nine others nominated for 2021 Thomson Foundation’s Young Journalist Award

Thomson Foundation has announced the names of the 10 journalists shortlisted for the year 2021 Young Journalist Award.

The Young Journalist Award is considered as the premier prize for up-and-coming journalists from around the world.

The shortlisted entrants, who were selected from nearly 200 entries from 55 countries, include:

✓ Samad Uthman, Nigeria
✓ Shrouk Ghonim, Egypt
✓ Daniel Lutaaya, Uganda
✓ Kai Hui Wong, Malaysia
✓ Tatiana Pardo Ibarra, Colombia
✓ Md. Ibrahim Khalilullah, Bangladesh
✓ Mahima Jain, India
✓ Zuha Siddiqui, Pakistan

The winner will be announced on 29th November, 2021 at the FPA Awards ceremony in London after the final round of judging.
