Paid fellowship for investigative journalists, activists

DEADLINE: JUNE 26, 2022 —The Bertha Challenge, which seeks to support collaborative investigations of one pressing social justice challenge, is open for applications.

Investigative journalists and activists can apply for this one-year, nonresidential, and paid fellowship.

The Bertha Challenge will offer the opportunity to engage with the complexity of food systems while strengthening relationships through shared work.

To encourage collaboration, training, mentorship and networking opportunities, fellows will receive a stipend of up to US$64,900, project funding of up to US$10,000, a connect fund of up to US$5,000.

The deadline for applications is June 26, 2022.
