DEADLINE: AUGUST 31, 2024—The I-79 Media Consults is inviting journalists to apply for its virtual data journalism training.

The training tagged “Moments with a Data Journalist” is scheduled to hold on Google Meet and will cover data journalism basics: Data Sourcing, Data Extraction, Data Cleaning, Data Analysis, Data Visualisation, Humanising Data among others.

The one-hour free virtual training on data journalism is scheduled for Sunday, September 1, 2024, by 4 pm.

The facilitator of the free training is Kehinde Ogunyale, a Data Journalism Expert and journalist with the International Centre for Investigative Reporting (ICIR), Abuja, Nigeria.
