Smithsonian magazine 19th annual photo contest

DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 30, 2021 —The Smithsonian magazine invites entries for its 19th annual photography contest.

Photographers who are at least 18 years old can submit entries in any of the following categories:

1. Natural World

2. Travel

3. People

4. The American Experience

5. Altered Images

6. Mobile

Photographs must have been shot by the entrant since January 1, 2019.

The Grand Prize winner will be awarded $2,500. The winners of each of the six categories will receive $500. The winner of the online Readers’ Choice award will receive $500.

The deadline for submitting entries to Smithsonian magazine is November 30, 2021.
