Thomson Reuters seeks to employ a talented and energetic correspondent to cover politics and general news in Abuja, Nigeria.

Applicants must have a deep knowledge of Nigeria and the region, an understanding of the key issues and players, and a knack for multimedia storytelling.

The correspondent must be willing to travel, sometimes at short notice, and can include hostile environments such as natural disasters and conflict zones.

The selected correspondent will be fluent in English with strong writing skills; proficiency in a Nigerian language would be a plus.

Interested applicants should have at least three years of professional journalism experience.
