VACANCY: Communications manager wanted at STER

STER

Applications are open for the post of communications manager at Stand To End Rape (STER).

STER is a youth-led non-profit organisation advocating against gender-based violence and providing medical, legal, and psychological support to survivors of sexual and gender-based violence in Nigeria.

The organisation established in 2014 and registered with the CAC adopts a comprehensive approach to advocating for gender equality and eliminating gender-based violence in Nigeria.

STER works with communities to generate sustainable homegrown solutions to the issues of gender-based violence that impact the broader society, then by partnering with local and national groups on systems-level prevention and intervention activities, and finally, by working with survivors and their families to support their recovery from trauma.

Interested applicants in the job must have a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field with 3-5 years working experience and reside in Lagos

The communications unit of the company is made up of content development and social media, and creative writing department.

Applicants with understanding of media relations and campaign strategy, content management system, social media and e-mail marketing and video editing etc. are likely most preferred.
