Wiki Loves Africa 2021 Competition now open

DEADLINE: APRIL 15, 2021 — Wiki Loves Africa invites participants to submit photographs, video, audio that illustrate the 2021 theme Health + Wellness.
Wiki Loves Africa is an annual contest where anyone across Africa can contribute media that relates to the year’s theme for use on Wikipedia and other project websites of the Wikimedia Foundation.
Each year’s theme is chosen by the community to be a universal, visually-rich and culturally-specific topics.
The aim is to celebrate the richness, diversity and beauty of Africa on Wikipedia.

The 2021 theme encourages the submission of visual representations of health, wellness and can include representations of traditional or western medical interventions or personnel, healthy eating, or exercise.The competition offers prizes both nationally and internationally.

At the international level, cash prizes range from $500 to $1000 in three major and two additional prize categories.
The deadline for applications is April 15, 2021.
