​Silverbird launches news channel, Sliverbird News 24

Silverbird Group, owners of Silverbird Television has launched an on-the-go news channel called Silverbird News 24.
Group chairman, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, said the channel will hit the airwaves from Monday, February 17, 2020.
Murray-Bruce said the news channel which will broadcast in English and Pidgin will compete with international news channels.
He said the news channel which offers viewing pleasure away from the conventional TV screens is accessible via live streaming capabilities of phones, tablets, laptops and other handheld devices.

Murray-Bruce said: “In the last 4 decades, Silverbird Group has not only changed the dynamics of the  Entertainment Industry in Nigeria and the world at large, but also brought honour and prestige to our dear country Nigeria.
