2024 MPIL Journalist in Residence Fellowship seeks applications

DEADLINE: OCTOBER 6, 2023 — The Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law invites applications for its 2024 MPIL Journalist in Residence Fellowship.

The MPIL Journalist in Residence Fellowship enables journalists with several years of experience to spend three months at the Institute.

It offers journalists the opportunity to engage with an international academic community and to gain deeper insights into fundamental questions and current problems of international law, European Union law, and public law.

A monthly research grant up to 3.500€, based on the fellows qualifications and experience, is offered for the duration of the stay.

The fellowship is for freelance and staff journalists from all media (print, online, radio, television) who report and write regularly on legal and constitutional topics, or topics from politics, the economy and research-related topics.

The time and duration of the stay between March and November 2024 are agreed individually.
