DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 2, 2025 — The 2025 Free Press Awards are now open for nominations. Two outstanding journalists, Most Resilient Journalist and Newcomer of the Year, would be honoured.
These awards celebrate extraordinary courage, perseverance and fresh talent in the fight for press freedom and independent information.
The Newcomer of the Year Award will be presented to a promising journalist with a maximum of four years of experience. The winner receives a media scholarship of their choice.
The Most Resilient Journalist will be awarded to a journalist who has shown exceptional bravery and perseverance under difficult circumstances. The winner receives a cash prize.
The deadline for nominations is November 2, 2025.
