DEADLINE; MAY 10, 2021— The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is set to host a digital conference on restoration of drylands in Africa.
GLF invites journalists to submit entries for training and full access to attend and cover the conference which will hold from 2nd-3rd June, 2021.
Early career reporters across the African continent are eligible to apply.
Applicants must pitch a story focusing on drylands and ecosystem restoration in their country.
Selected journalists will have access to holistic writing and mentoring experience
After the workshop, the best of the best will be selected to attend the GLF Africa 2021 conference.
The best 5 journalists will also receive a long form storytelling grant to produce more in-depth pieces, as a follow-up from the conference.
Stories can be published in English or French
The deadline for applications is 10th May, 2021.
