AI Accountability Fellowships open for applications

DEADLINE: AUGUST 11, 2025 — The Al Accountability Fellowships by the Pulitzer Centre seek to support journalists working on in-depth AI accountability stories.

The Fellowship is designed for staff or freelance journalists from all beats, desks, and formats who want to examine governments’ and corporations’ uses of predictive and surveillance technologies to guide decisions in policing, medicine, social welfare, the criminal justice system, hiring and more.

The 10-month Fellowship will provide journalists up to $20,000 to pursue their reporting project.

The deadline for applications is August 11, 2025
