DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 4, 2026 — The International Sports Press Association (AIPS) is accepting entries for the 2026 AIPS Sport Media Awards.
Sports journalists, photographers and broadcasters worldwide can submit original work published or broadcast between November 5, 2025, and November 4, 2026.
The awards recognise excellence in sports journalism across writing, photography, audio and video.
Eligible categories include Best Opinion Column, Best Colour Piece, Radio and Podcasts, Short Feature, Athlete Profile, Documentary, Sport Action and Portfolio. Journalists under 30 may also apply in the Young Reporters categories for writing, photography and broadcasting.
Applicants may submit up to two entries, while Young Reporters are limited to one submission.
Winners in each eligible category will receive a trophy and prize money of USD 5,000 for first place, USD 3,000 for second place and USD 2,000 for third place. Young Reporters winners will receive a scholarship to attend a major international sporting event instead of cash prizes.
The deadline to apply for the AIPS Sport Media Awards is November 4, 2026.
