Applications open for Dart Centre Ochberg Fellowship on trauma reporting

DEADLINE: MARCH 3, 2025 — The Dart Centre for Journalism and Trauma has opened applications for the 2025 Ochberg Fellowship on trauma reporting. This is a programme for senior and mid-career journalists covering violence, conflict and tragedy.

The fellowship offers an intensive weeklong seminar in New York City from July 29 to August 3, 2025. Fellows will engage with experts in trauma and mental health, discuss ethical challenges in reporting, and explore best practices for covering traumatic events responsibly

Print, broadcast and digital reporters, photographers, editors and producers with at least five years of professional journalism experience can apply for the fellowship.

Fellows must be fluent in spoken English to participate in the programme.

The application deadline is March 3, 2025.
