DEADLINE: AUGUST 12, 2024 — The Internews Health Journalism Network invites applications for its Gender Justice x Health Fellowship, which includes a stipend of $750 to support story production.
The fellowship will also offer rigorous mentorship, exclusive training sessions with internal and external experts, networking opportunities, and a mock newsroom session to workshop final story ideas.
Journalists, photographers, podcasters and other information creators can pitch stories that explore the implications of pushback against gender equality and women’s and LGBTQI+ rights globally and its profound effects on the health and well-being of all individuals, including men, women, gender-diverse individuals, and children.
Stories should include interviews with experts, affected individuals, and relevant stakeholders, and use reliable data and evidence to support the reporting. Stories may be in any format including print, digital and broadcast media, and photo.
The deadline for applications is August 12, 2024.
