Applications open for Harvard Radcliffe Institute fellowship

DEADLINES: SEPTEMBER 10 & OCTOBER 1, 2026 — The Harvard Radcliffe Institute Fellowship is inviting scientists, writers, scholars, public intellectuals and artists to apply for its 2027–2028 cohort.

The fellowship provides a full academic year to pursue ambitious projects within Harvard University’s interdisciplinary research environment. Applications are accepted in a wide array of disciplines across the humanities, social sciences and creative arts.

Applicants can propose innovative work that confronts pressing social, scientific and policy issues and seeks to engage audiences beyond academia.

While the deadline for applications in the humanities, social sciences, creative arts, and nonfiction and journalism is September 10, 2026, the deadline for science, engineering, and mathematics is October 1, 2026.
