DEADLINE: JUNE 10, 2020 ― Upright for Nigeria is calling on investigative journalists in Nigeria to apply for an endowment to track leadership and accountability in the country especially during this COVID-19 pandemic.
The organisation will fund investigations carried out by journalists under this programme.
Upright Nigeria is an anti-corruption campaign organisation for strengthening citizens resistance against corruption (SCRAP-C).
Instead of addressing corruption from institutional and government end, the organisation through campaigns is out to strengthen and imbibe a corruption averse mentality in citizens.
Investigative journalists are needed to track COVID-19 donations and/or palliatives distribution in select states of the country.
Investigative reports gathered will be published in Nigerian national media.
The focus of the investigation is on the campaign project states like Akwa Ibom, FCT, Enugu, Kaduna, Kano, Lagos and Borno.
