Apply for Mongabay’s conservation reporting fellowship (up to $3,000)

DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 10, 2022 —Mongabay is currently accepting applications for its Y. Eva Tan Conservation Reporting Fellowship Programme.

The remote programme will provide opportunities for journalists from biodiversity hotspots in tropical countries to report on critical environmental issues.

Fellows of the Y. Eva Tan Conservation Reporting Fellowship will create a portfolio of original publications which will help them advance their careers in journalism.

Each fellow will receive $500 USD a month for the duration of the six-month fellowship, or $3,000 USD in total.

Fellows will work directly with the fellowship editor to produce six stories. Each fellow is expected to commit to engaging 10 hours a week.

The deadline for applications is September 10, 2022.
