DEADLINE: DECEMBER 6, 2021 —Journalists can apply for the AACR June L. Biedler’s Prize for Cancer Journalism.
The AACR June L. Biedler Prize for Cancer Journalism honors stories that enhance the public’s understanding of cancer, cancer research, or policy.
The prize will support journalists with an unrestricted cash award of $5,000, and a commemorative award.
Journalists in the print, broadcast, and online media can apply. Submissions must be in English, or accurately translated into English.
Although the prizes aim to honor individual journalists, more than one journalist may be co-nominated and selected to receive a prize.
Stories must have been published or broadcast for the first time between January 1, 2020, and November 30, 2021.
The deadline for submission is December 6, 2021.
