AU Media Fellowship open to African journalists, content creators, others

DEADLINE: AUGUST 14, 2025 — The African Union (AU) Media Fellowship programme empowers Africans to shape and share their own stories.

The AU Media Fellowship is open to all African journalists and content creators who are citizens of an African Union member state and are 25 years old or above.

Journalists, bloggers, podcasters, and digital creators, especially those with newsroom experience, can apply.

Applicants must have a minimum of 6 years of work in media or content creation, fluency in any AU official language (working language is English) and demonstrated talent, innovation, and impact in media or digital content fields.

The deadline for applications is August 14, 2025.
