DEADLINE: ROLLING — BBC Africa Eye is currently accepting pitches for investigative story ideas.

BBC Africa Eye is an investigative documentary programme that makes films from across the continent.

The kind of stories that can be pitched include investigative documentaries, investigations, hard access stories, social investigations, compelling characters and open source investigations.

Gripping stories that are of intense interest to African audiences; stories that uncover new information, expose serious wrongdoing, and hold power to account; stories that take audiences into situations they’ve never seen before; stories on social issues; stories built around a strong character in a difficult or dynamic situation; and stories that use publicly available information – mobile phone videos, satellite imagery, social media posts, vehicle tracking data – and applies forensic levels of scrutiny to make new discoveries can be pitched.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
