DEADLINE: JUNE 8, 2021— British Council’s Future News Worldwide is currently accepting applications from student journalists for its 2021 Cohort.
Each year, the British Council brings together 100 of the world’s most talented, motivated and passionate student journalists to attend an intensive media training programme.
Participants receive exclusive coaching from world-leading editors, broadcasters, writers and reporters, and see how publishers around the world are using technology to find stories and bring them to life like never before.
The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Climate, COVID-19 and the rise of disinformation: how journalism can best serve a world in crisis’.
The programme is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students aged 18-25. Graduates who completed their degree course after July 1st, 2019 can also apply.
Interested applicants must be available to attend a conference session on either 14 the or 15th of July 2021.
Applicants can come from any region of the world and must be fluent in English.
The deadline for applications is June 8, 2021.
