Cinema Verde Environmental Film & Arts Festival

DEADLINE: AUGUST 27, 2021 —The Cinema Verde Environmental Film & Arts Festival is open for entries from professional filmmakers and students.

Cinema Verde is an Environmental Film and Arts Festival in Gainesville, Florida, created to raise awareness of environmental issues through the arts.

The organizers utilize a multi-disciplinary program of film, music, art, workshops, an eco-fair and eco-tours to connect participants with green initiatives in business, government and organizations seeking to solve environmental problems.

Films must address any of these issues: food, water, waste, energy, chemical contamination, population, social justice, sustainability, animals, sustainable business, green building, etc.

Winners will receive full-access VIP Festival Passes to all Cinema Verde screenings, workshops, parties and events. However, the organizers will not be able to give out cash prizes for these award-winning films.

The deadline for applications is August 27, 2021.
