CJID hiring campus reporter editor

DEADLINE: MARCH 8, 2026 — The Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented Campus Reporter Editor.

The editor will provide editorial leadership for student journalists participating in CJID’s Next Gen Campus Reporter Project.

This full-time role involves providing editorial support and mentorship to emerging campus journalists across Africa.

The editor will be expected to edit stories from the campus journalists, uphold CJID’s editorial standards, and support the production of ethical, inclusive, and impactful journalism.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage), and a minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in journalism editing, newsroom work, or media publishing.
