CJID’s AI and Tech accountability reporting fellowship

DEADLINE: APRIL 17, 2025 — The Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) is accepting applications for its AI and Tech Accountability Reporting Fellowship.

The fellowship is a three-month programme which will empower journalists in Nigeria and Ghana with the tools, expertise, and insights needed to navigate the complexities of artificial intelligence (AI).

Fellows will have access to funding, mentorship and resources to produce investigative reports that scrutinise the ethical implications, transparency, fairness, and accountability of AI systems and technological advancements.

Journalists, reporters, researchers and media professionals in Nigeria and Ghana, especially those with experience in tech reporting or a keen interest in AI, ethics, and digital policy.

Female journalists and journalists with disabilities (PWDs) are strongly encouraged to apply.

The deadline for applications is April 17, 2025.
