DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 8, 2023 — Climate Story Lab Lagos is currently accepting applications for a two-day training session tagged Impact Lab.
The training will teach participants how to use their voice, storytelling projects and creative skills to drive social impact on the climate crisis in the local context through collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
Climate Story Lab Lagos seeks applications from creatives, storytellers, members of civil society, policymakers, thinkers, academia, journalists, movement builders and community organisers.
Interested applicants are to submit creative storytelling projects that seek to drive awareness about climate change as it intersects with other social issues such as water, health, human security, energy poverty and so on.
The focus is on storytellers in Nigeria and West Africa, whose works are rooted in climate storytelling. Projects should be non-fiction films (feature length, shorts, episodic series), immersive and interactive stories or podcasts.
The deadline for applications is September 8, 2023.
