Daphne Caruana Galizia Prize for Journalism seeks entries

DEADLINE: JULY 31, 2024 — The Daphne Caruana Galizia Prize for Journalism is currently open for applications.

Professional journalists and teams of professional journalists of any nationality, with in-depth pieces that have been published or broadcast by media based in one of the 27 European Union (EU) countries can apply.

The Prize aims to recognise outstanding in-depth journalism that promotes or defends the core principles and values of the European Union such as human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, rule of law, and human rights.

A cash prize of €20,000 will be awarded in October 2024.

The deadline for applications is July 31, 2024.
