DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 16, 2023 — Ahead of its 20th anniversary in 2024, the Earth Journalism Network (EJN) has a year-long fellowship programme for environmental reporters.
The fellowships will enhance reporting over four priority areas, which incline climate change, biodiversity, the ocean and One Health.
EJN will provide four exceptional environmental reporters with training and mentorship, a quarterly salary stipend and funding for story production, travel and professional development opportunities.
Fellows will receive a quarterly stipend of 6,000 EUR to cover expenses for story production and the fellows’ time; and 6,000 EUR to cover travel to conferences, travel for story production, professional development opportunities and more.
Applications are open to environmental reporters in any medium reporting from a low- or middle-income country.
Applicants must have demonstrated experience covering climate change, biodiversity, the ocean and/or One Health topics, and a minimum of 5 years of journalistic experience.
The deadline for applications is November 16, 2023.
